Memories....
BTW i Am Hamzah from england london
i recall it was still early in the morning, when hubby came home from radiation session and asked me and insisted on having the remote control for the tv...well, i gave it to him, no question asked...then he started flipping channels...then found one he wants...tower on fire...ok, accidents do happen in the skies...then a second one hit the second tower LIVE...now that is no accident!! u can hear the news cast screaming out of shock...i was frozen, thinking it was a joke or what...then we got a phonecall from israel, his nephew, wants to check on us in ca if were fine??? obviously we were, cuz it happend in NY, but then he said "No, they say in israel that SEVEN planes hit usa!!!"...that was weird, cuz no news was about the pentagon one and others till later that day...now that is strange!!
Of course during the aftermath of the Amman bombings, I also knew Iraqis who were singled out in the exact same manner.
In moments of anger people do not act rationally.
I distinctly remember one American telling me all Arabs should be kicked out of the country immediately and never allowed back in. Look at it this way, any Arabs working in the US are always a couple of terrorist attacks away from ending up in a forced-labor concentration camp with their citizenship stripped, similar to any Japanese/Germans who were in US/Canada during WW2. I don't like it at all since my brother works in the US.
Haitham posted a link to a really excellent video on the subject (missing links):

It’s 2 hours, and kinda one sided, but very eye-opening. I downloaded it and put it on DVD myself.
I still can't comprehend that you don't believe that Al Qaidah did 9/11. I sued to live in Port Charlotte, Florida just 10 minutes from Venice where the 2 qaida members got trained and went to flying school. It seems we love conpsiracy theories and we love to blame everything and every failure on Israel, it's true that UBL is probably living in a cave now but his guys are not.
Anyways, I moved to the US 3 months after 9/11 and I was never harassed by government officals or my co workers, I guess i was lucky
I still don't know what to believe about 9/11. BUT i don't think it was done as an excuse to invade Iraq or Afghanistan, i think if it was a consiperacy there's more to it than that.
