I thought, going back to work would be so easy, I will just show up, and go on with my casual routine. Turns out, I was wrong! It doesn't work like that! Once you've been "hooked" on honeymooning, you'll be hooked for life!

There are many things you have to fight against, like the strong urge to go home every 15 minutes to check up on your significant other. The constant randomizing thoughts of how you would rather be home right about now, instead!

Once thing is certain, honeymooning sets the "joy" bar so high, nothing appears to even come close.

I spent some time playing video games over the weekend, they didn't even feel fun anymore! Which explains a lot about single men in their thirties living in their mother's basement. Once you're married, you automatically get this personality boost!

You're suddenly, older, more mature, and more serious! It makes a lot of sense when you're walking around carrying two egos, two id(s) and two super-egos!

Suddenly, so many things become clearer. More important (or less important), more fun, or less fun all under the influence of the honeymoon.

Now, I'm not sure if this effect, or "glow" lasts. Maybe I'll be able to go back faster working pace, I'll have to wait and see. But in the meantime, I'm still enjoying the pink new shade of in my life.
