I was really pissed off to see such a comment after the death of struggling singer "Suzan Tamim" who I really can't remember singing anything. She's probably more famous dead than she was alive. (May her soul rest in peace, and condolences to her family), but then came the stupid comments of some dumb sick people who appear to know nothing about the world or history. Or ANYTHING!

Here's my advice, if you're stupid, dumb and know nothing about anything. How about you keep your mouth shut about things instead of proving how stupid you are!?

When someone just out of no where comes along to say "All Arabs are Murderers" then a stupid self hating Arab decides to echo such stupidity, I find my self compelled to respond in the strongest of ways!!

Here's a list of all the Singers who have been MURDERED, not by Arabs, not by Muslims, but by murderers. Not Arabs, not [nationality], murderers represent themselves, and ONLY themselves!

Marvin Gaye - Killed by father
Mia Zapata - Raped and murdered

Pantera's Dimebag Darrell- Murdered on Stage
Tupac Shakur

The list is much larger for singers who were murdered worldwide. Not by Arabs. But by mad men, stalkers and people who envied them because they're public figures

THINK before you speak!

I'm an Arab, and I have no hidden urges to murder anyone! Even people who were hostile. Most of the Arabs, actually, ALL the Arabs I know are exactly like that, they wouldn't kill anyone. Most have a hard time killing a cockroach or a fly, let alone mastermind a murder!

Just like everyone else on the face of this planet!

Aaaakh ya Qwaider ... I guess that we haven't seen the end of it yet ...

One singer gets killed in Dubai and suddenly all Arabs are murderers ... it is kinda typical ... isn't it?

I guess it is easier to generalize a nation than put the finger on the problem. A lot of Hollywood stars were injured or even murdered by stalkers or even people they knew ... O.J. Simpson did not turn all Americans into murderers or racists after all ... but it seems that a lot of people forget history and look at the world from a very narrow opening ... I hope that more people raise awareness and talk about this just like you did ...

I know exactly what you mean. When i first read her post, i really wanted to write a steamy comment debunk such idiocy. But then i decided it wasn't worth it, and Hani's comment was also good. So, i let her be.

As you said .. i never feel that any of my Arab friends are even capable of killing a lizard or a chicken let alone a person. It is really sad that aparently if idiotic comments are echoed repeatedly enough, people start taking them as truths. ... Ehhh

Extremism has many faces, and what I described in my earlier article doesn't represent ALL Arab Americans and I've said that. But the fact remains that many of them end up gravitating to either pole. Either too strict or too loose, a very subjective matter.
Regarding what I'm saying in this article, it's orthogonal to that. It's directed at self hating Arabs who apparently, believed the branding, and somehow started living a lie thinking that all Arabs are murders.

In both cases I'm pro moderation. I hope you can see that. I'm not attacking extremism and narrow mindedness. Not people. I never attack people. You apparently have me confused with someone else!

That American is a little ignorant. The US has a ridiculously high murder rate (not to mention a large gun happy segment of the population), and worse yet, they have a phenomenon nearly unknown in Arab countries, serial killers, we might kill for silly things like honor, land, politics, but how many Arabs kill for entertainment ? Plus one more word (Columbine).

This reminds me of when India and Pakistan got nuclear weapons, and I was listening to the American news pundits express how worried they are. Basically their general idea was that it's worrisome to have "savages" that are often a hair away from a war such as India and Pakistan with nuclear weapons. This is ironic since the country who invented nukes, the largest stockpiler of nukes, the country that sold nukes to its allies, and the only country to ever use nukes in a war is...USA

That's not even counting the figure in: iraqbodycount.org

So, People with glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
