You don't even need to be a suspect of wrong doing, or an American Citizen. Your laptop, hard-drive, flash drive, cell phone, iPod, memory cards are ALL subject to seizure and examination by Department of homeland security agents. They may also be held indefinitely!

Apparently, Department of homeland security has been forced to disclose some of it's policies due to pressure from civil liberties and business travel groups who acted on reports of more travellers getting harassed and having their laptops held indefinitely!

I guess, now that the US border folks have deteriorated to the levels of Saudi religious police since the action above includes hard printed documents, books, notes ..etc

Just a sad side effect for the hypocrisy being promoted as "liberty and Democracy"

wo ba3dain? shway tanyeh I have to surgically remove my brain for a flight due to "security". Having my laptop with me always gave me trouble. They always made me turn it on and open the battery area but this is a whole new level! I'm glad cameras aren't listed... not yet at least.

Unfortunately, Cameras contain flash memory cards, therefore, they're automatically listed!

Most of my colleagues consider traveling to the US a job perk. The security, lost baggage, air line inefficiencies make me prefer to stay at home!
