Our emotions either intentionally or unintentionally seeks our likes. If an Arabic team was playing. I would have secretly rooted for them. Even if they were playing against my favorite team Argentina.
Now the fact is, France has Zaidane and the minute I see him I automatically polarize with him. Even against one of the teams I like (Brazil except when they play Argentina)
Frankly I didn't think France will win. It was a surprise to me too.

France has never been my favorit team but I cant forget I am muslim or Arabic even when I watch football.
