Huge Spider

I don't know what kind of a spider is this, but it's HUGE!!!

I'm not sure what would be a natural way to get rid of spiders... Back in Jordan (and Kuwait) the most common pests were flies, mosquitoes and cockroaches. Over here, it's by FAR spiders! I haven't seen as my different types of spiders as I have seen here.

Not even sure what I can do about them!! My mother used to always tell me that spiders are good insects, and we shouldn't kill them.. But they sure freak me out!

some r poisonous...be careful....
at my son's school, they r taught to take the bug out, if they found any, and never kill a bug nomatter what it is....NOT 4 ME!!!!

ok i hate ALL kinds of insects... get a cat, cats get rid of insects right?
check ur windows/doors to see if they're coming in from there and close em up.

as opposed to wonder's comment, cats freak out min spiders, byaklou roaches and ants and stuff but not spiders.

lak hay sha2ra! this is poisonous! get a terminator and have the house sprayed, seems u live not very high above the ground (ya3ni tawabe2 1-4 maybe) aw inno fi garden, u have to spray ur house every 6 months if thats the case.

I believe that's a jumping spider. I'm not sure from what family exactly, but it's not harmful though.

I'm uneasy about spider's myself. My Buddhist friend told me they believed they were good luck, and in college would put it in a box and take it to the forest rather than kill it.

I can't believe some people take tarantulas as pets. I can't even bare to see a picture.

But I can't get a cat, I'm allergic to cats :(. And my fluffy dog can't jump that high .. heck my dog can't jump. Period!

Really? Those damn cats are disgusting! I am glad my dog doesn't have an appetite for that kinda stuff!
I don't think this is a poisonous type. It's very common where I live (I actually live right in the middle of a jungle) :) A lot of trees, gardens and greenery.
And yeah, my house is two floors only, I don't live in an Apartment building.

There's a fear that is embedded in our DNA from these creatures, Spiders, Scorpions, Snakes, Lions .. anything that used to eat and kill humans. Yet, some people enjoy taking them as pets!
