More blogging tips. This one comes with a tool to help you spread out even more!

Many of the social bookmarking sites rely on the users to let them know that they have some new content they want to share. Some blogging engines like Wordpress updates a few of these services. While others like Blogspot has Google to spider the sites and make sure the blogs are posted there.

But Technorati and Google are not the only source of hits a blog can get. They're important, but there are other very important services that can contribute to a considerable amount of traffic

Check out my 58 service pinger (yes, 58) of the top sites can be reacded through this page.

Most people don't want to bother with this. Some who know the secret (like using PingoMatic) know that this stuff works. Not only that, but it works so well that the server behind PingoMatic is often down (Imagine, this is the same company the makes Akesmit)

So without any further ado, go ahead, give it a try, ping your own blog and see for your self.

(Please understand that this is an early beta so there might be bugs. But otherwise, it's fully functional and you can take advantage of it right this minute

great work man.. I ping my blog, but why some sites gives me "X" sign and some gives me "!" sign?? That's mean it will not add to these sites?

p.s: what is the different between yahoo and yahoo 1 ? :)

The X's might mean the service is down. Or more is needed. Like having your blog there with an account.
The ! means the page was not found. These services are under continued stress. And sometimes (Quite often actually) the go down.
The yellow Triangles means a response that is not positive success
