Honestly, I usually cringe when I hear the word Superhero movie. Because, even though I love them, most of the times I'm so disappointed to the point that I usually never see the movie again

Tonight, that was not the case!

This movie is hands down the BEST movie of 2008 (so far), and if you have a way to get to the first show at 12:01AM on the night before the release. THEN GO FOR IT!

The thrown that has been held for so long by Batman is finally coming to an end, there's a new king in town, he's rich, he's cocky and he's no Bruce Wayne. Behold, the new star, Tony Stark!

People who are already in love with the comic will be very happy to know that the movie experience was even more exhilarating that Superman, batman and Spider-man. This is one new Superhero that is sure to deliver the goods

The casting is exceptional for this movie, Robert Downey Jr fits the role like, ehm, well the Iron Man suit fits Tony Stark! Perfectly! He's cocky, arrogant, super smart, impulsive, a loose canon and completely unpredictable. In real life and as a Superhero, telltale signs of true genius.

Gwyneth Paltrow on the other hand, fits the amazing assistant "Pepp" (Pepper) perfectly! She's fantastically gorgeous, not to forget very smart too!

The character development was PERFECT, it took enough time, but NOT too much time which made it a pleasure to see the whole movie gaining momentum towards the amazing climatic ending that wasn't abrupt, but it continued for the perfect amount of time!

The movie is also smart in nice ways, and extremely funny in others, but remains true to it's identity. This is fiction at it's best!

My only issue with the movie was the poor representation of the Arabs in the movie but I was subtly pleased with the skillful way it was handled. Leaving religion out, focusing on the political side of the conflict and finally showing who the real villain is! That made my night!

If you see one movie this year, THIS HAS TO BE IT!

10/10 on the Qwaider Scale! The first perfect score of this year!

Batman held the throne ? which one ? All the Batman movies sucked as far as I'm concerned except for Batman Begins which was brilliant. Spiderman 2 was also excellent because they concentrated on his human side. Superman was probably the worst superhero movie in recent memory. Event he old superman movies with their 80s style, and cheesy special fx were better simply because Christopher Reeve was a much better fit for the rule than the new guy.

No no .. It's going to be released very soon in Jordan. I highly recommend watching in a theatre!

LOL! Man, there are a bunch of people who will disagree. But I totally agree on Superman. It's more of a kids movie if you really look at it.
Now, throne of the "super-rich-save-the-world-super-hero-in-a-fancy-exso-suit" throne

man i thought i was wrong about the guy how made so many robots :D i saw the cartoon couple of years ago, it was one of the stories where they were working in china and released some kinds demons and he was trying to fight them to win back the rings of power LOL! i was right ;)

I was trying to convince my friends to see it this weekend, but their reply is "fish fee daynasorat, keef rajol el 7adeedi ebte7ki? Ba3dein leish emghayreen shaklo?"

It took me a minute to click they were talking about that 80's show. Haha!

I went to see it last night at 1 AM (sigh) after Fairuz (loool @ combination).

It was awesome, I loved the character development and the cool high-tech stuff. I got used to Arabs being portrayed in this way (then again during movie history literally everyone got stereotyped) but my only complaint is that the "iron man moments" were actually few (but cool).. and the final battle could have been longer and made more sense. It would have been cooler if there was a combat scene between a lesser prototype then that final big one. For a two hour movie it focused more on characters which is AWESOME but they could have added 5-10 minutes extra combat.

okay my openion:
very good graphics ,very good sound effects, excelent montage, good picture,good sience fiction

put aside the political side put aside that am arab and muslim:

lousy story,bad senario,so weak in drama and again so much of portration of the american hero who wants to save the world..and yeah some greedy american who gets toasted at the end so boring repetitive.

I mean there is other super hero stuff movies was much better example batman returns,matrix and other stuff.

i have nothing against the movie or the production it seems nice but the story is week and the senarist needed to be much better (I think they were out of writers when they produced it due to writers strike).

anyway i enjoyed looking at my crush star (I guess her name is guineth paltro smthg) whom i didnt see for a long time i ll give it a plus for that:)
