Yes, I'm pissed off! The goons in Redmond stole my dream AGAIN! Goddamn it!

If you know me, you will know that I'm a gadget freak. Step into my car and you have, Voice activated hands free calls. Internet radio streaming over bluetooth [and here] to the head unit. Voice activated Email reader, voice activated song finder, USB Flash drive player, ipod hookup...etc  and more recently full CarPuter PC right at my finger tips!

I've had these for years now, and then came Microsoft!

Well, at least, this legend (check video below) gives them what they deserve!

As for Microsoft, You you still don't have ... In car Wifi connectivity for all passengers, with high speed Internet with mobile hot spot capabilities. Built in GPS with LIVE updates from Google EARTH or Microsoft Live earth with up to the minute Traffic information AND  areal and street views with millions of interest points. Making SIP calls to Jordan at 3.6c a minute while driving, conduct an audio/video session on my MSN with in car webcam, In addition to streaming TV from my home to my carputer! I was watching Bab EL 7ara while driving on the highway! Top that M$FT

which service carrier do you use to make your VoIP calls? I use Tarasol, it gives me my own JORDANIAN number wherever i go, works on all nokia E series phones and any laptop with wifi connection. saves me thousands!! I dont pay roaming or any extra...i justpay 3p per min to any jordanian number PLUS they can call ME s if they're calling a normal 06 number!! no one knows im in lebanon!
I use a bunch. But I had some good fortune with Callcentric. they've been good to me. But quite frankly any VOIP should work just fine
Here's the COOL thing, I think I'm going with UMA next. I'm just waiting to see any provider providing UMA in Jordan. (UMA is GSM over IP, which is much better than regular SIP because it's superior, can hand off to GSM networks in a flash AND requires less bandwidth)

I wasn't aware that you can get a Jordanian number :) I am all over that!! I'm already sold on the idea, I would sign up NOW
I'll go check it out :)

    Thanks for the tip
The bluescreen clip rocks, how many of your readers are old enough to remember K.I.T.T. and how many know what the acronym stands for :)

    This brings back memories!

Man... your car is a hazard zone!
    Hani
It's sad that the new generations don't even know anything about older classics like the knight rider. These are legends, some of the best shows on TV for generations.

    KJ
How is my "Voice activated dialing" which allows me to keep both hands on the steering wheel a hazard?
How is text-to-speech for my email and sms a hazard? You prefere I hold the phone in my hand and read from it? Or write SMS while driving on the highway?

    Come on :)
