I'm just like you I LOVE smoking, I still do. But it's something that HAS TO GO. I just can't allow the habit to shape my life, or define me.. So I made the decision. I'm in charge and I quit!

Remember that Jordan blogs meeting when I used to smoke and got some negative remarks from people. You were there. I was so ashamed of my self to tell you the truth for disappointing people.
That's when I made my decision. No more smoking. And I'm so happy with that decision now

How long did you smoke before you took a decision to quit?
It must feel great to feel the change yourself, I thought it takes longer for a smoker to be 100% clean.
Anyway, you reminded me of myself whenever I pass by smokers; I frown and cough and wave my hand around and I know they notice it but I do not care hehehe.

Would you believe that it was a doctor that helped me with quittng smoking,only thing is he was a gynecologist, by shocking me,he was the best one of two that I ever had,as gynecolgists ,he showed me a chart of how women had developed lung cancer in relation to when women took up smoking,I guess in the roaring 20's.
The chart showed clearly the connection between women smoking and developing this disease.I'm so grateful for my pink, healthy lungs,as I quit smoking 28 years ago,after smoking about 10 years.I thank my eldest son for my healthy lungs as I quit smoking cold turkey when I carried him.I wink at Tinkerbella,hehehe.
For me the best thing about someone quitting smoking is that you can talk to them face to face or be with them in the same car without having to hold your breath.
Now you need to buy new clothes :)

Why do I need to buy new cloths? Most of my stuff are newer than one year anyway :D, and I have everything professionally cleaned, so I don't have a problem there ;-)

I used to cough whenever I passed someone with a cigarette in his hand, I still can't stand the smell, but I don't cough anymore. I guess I sort of got used to it because I know so many more smokers than before (nobody smokes in our family). But I still try to go as far away as possible when I see someone lighting his cigarette, I DO NOT want to become a passive smoker!
