Oh Secratea, why did I ever doubt you!!? WHY!!!?

Some stupid rude people need to seriously get a life!

People! When you're in a meeting, there are three things you just CAN NOT DO! No Carrots, No Chips, and no goddamn Snoring!

For god's sake, this is so damn annoying it's not even funny! When someone is trying to give a very serious presentation about a huge subject the last thing you want to hear is ... A horse chomping carrots next to you! Or a donkey playing with the chips noisy packs.

Why are those bags so noisy to begin with!?

And OH MY GOD ... Is that guy, snoring!!?

I guess Snoring used to be evolutions way to identify living humans for lions so that they can EAT THEM. Not much has changed since the, if you snore in the board meeting, your goddamn head is going to roll!

    List of No-no's in meetings:

No chomping, no snoring, no eating chips, no cellphones, no video games, no swinging chairs, no side meeting, no side giggling, no chatting, no facebook(ing), no nose picking, no scratching (eww) and stop playing with the goddamn pen!

seriously man. I especially hate those people who pick up their phone and say "I am in a meeting"..Seriously, don't answer it in the first place. :@
i've been in a lot of meeting and watched as people fell asleep, it is stupid really, you cannot pretend to be interested for an hour??

The food thing is a new thing to me, but i can imagine how ridiciously funny and annoying it must be

I feel for my pastor when he is teaching from the podium and half the attendees are sleeping. At least he doesn't have to listen to food being eaten.

    :D Funny post!

Well I wouldnt be as strict as you seem to be, I have no problem with watching them picking noses, and playing with pens. Infact sometimes I pray that they are not listening to what im saying :D
well if all that happens when you are giving a presentation doesnt that tell you something? ;)
Some meetings really kill with the amount of boredom in them!
Attending lots of meetings, one eventually masters the art of sleeping with his eyes open :)
LOOOL...well meetings can be boring to death sometimes....the most torturing things during a meeting for me:
1- when the room is too cold
2- or when it's too hot
3- when i need to go to the bathroom! :'(
i lose concentration at that point..e7em..

    loooooooooooool
    You seem sooooo angry!!!
I give technical courses in the company... and yes i know what it means to spend days preparing so that you look, act and speak properly in front of a group and seeing some of them "travelling" outside the window or trying to hide his and the one beside him's giggles...
They irritate me alot... I give them warning looks... if they have shwayyet zoo2 they stop... if not, i promise myself to make them understand the value of what i am saying in the evaluation exam... and i know how to do it :-D

seriously, it is always nice to listen with all your attention when some one is doing a presentation he worked hard to prepare for it... it reflects a self-respect...
Oh man, i am sorry to hear that :(
that list of no-nos is awesome!
    Hamza
I know those people, and that would be "THE WIFE" so he wouldn't dare not answer or she will think he's doing it with the secretary :)

    Wonders
CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP in your ear!!
    :(

    Kinzi
LOL Well, those can be amusing at times :)
But NOT at work! They're getting paid to snore

    MD
    Thanks
I'm not that strict, I'm blowing off some steam here because I don't want to blow it off in the meeting :)

    Princess N
I wasn't giving a presentation! And even if I was, my field of science is VERY dry. I can go on for hours talking about authentication, encryption attack vectors and yeah, it does put most people to sleep. But you know... 3aib!
They're not get paid to snore or chomp on those damn carrots!

    Adoosh
    LOL!!! YES TRUE!!!
As long as you don't snore! Or maybe you snore in a way that sounds interesting like .. HMMM instead of ZZZZZZ :)

    Oriental Arabesque
You know, most of my meeting are almost open door. People can come and leave as they like. Many bring their coffee, lunch... you name it.. Most don't make any noise. But some ... Chomp chomp chomp ... horse chewing is NOT sexy!

    Whispere
    I don't know what to do ??? I didn't get it!

    Naryat
    More annoyed than angry actually.
HAHAHAA .. I love the way you get back at them :)

    Secratea
Sorry I doubted you :( You were right! I should take them outside. Line them up .. and shoot carrots at their teeth!:)
I bring my clear green water bottle, pen and paper, and myself to meetings.
