    Certain things I can't explain,

why do we at the heat of the moment, raise our shields, and act just like we don't care or don't feel a thing. The minute we are alone and no body is watching our tears start to uncontrollably rain!

Why is it when we're so far away from home we long for it, but when we're there we can't wait for the moment to just break free and escape!

Why does it get so cold and we start remenising over the beauty of the summer and how we love it, and then when it's summer we're all upset of the heat and want winter to come back again!

Why do we let go of our dreams only to wake up living nightmares.

Sorry for this cryptic post, but ever since my family has picked up the habit of reading my blog, I've not been completely free to express my frustrations like I used to. I can no longer talk about how much I miss home without everyone getting all worried.

It didn't take long this time to start the home sick, less than 3 weeks after I arrived here and I already feel homesick!

And yeah, it so relaxing to cry your eyes out, it's so relaxing to cry your self to sleep. Sometimes, it's the best release you can ever have

I'm FINE, don't go all mushy on me or anything!

    You'll never know why..

We feel all these things 'coz we gotta.. And there's absolutely nothing that we can do about them..

Enjoy your times wherever you are & try to leave your print wherever you go..

Give as much love as you can & that's the best thing you can take with you ANYWHERE :)

There's this ad in the radio that always goes like:
    "there's no place like home
& there's no home like your own.."
    (& it's usually said in a british accent :) )

The world is all ours, so we gotta do our best living it.. a little cry here & there will put us through its cold nights..

I wish you aaaaaall the very best of your heartu heart Sam  :)

    with respect,
Oh.. you're right! I guess it's because we always look for what we don't have.
hmm... Why do you let them read it .. although mine does too bas that never stops me, it's you Qwaider so be free and do not let anything stop you.. why are we fragile? beats me.. it bugs me too, I have become so aggressive and defensive yet I am all mushy inside
    :( you just made me cry. o ba3dean ma3ak!!!
i hate crying by myself, i hate hate hate crying myself to sleep i look like crap when i wake up the next motning, not to mention the unbelievable headache, i tried really hard to quit this habit, it's the worst feeling on this world.

I know that it can be hard to keep it all together sometimes...don't dwell on the things that make you unhappy...
    Sara
Thank you for your sweet kind words. They mean a lot to me

    Whisperer
I noticed, but it looks cuter this way :)

    Simply me
Exactly, but it feels more painful when we look for what we once had

    Chikapappi
I don't let them read it. My young niece Dina (el fattaneh) reads it and runs to grandaddy telling him everything

    Maioush,
    Sorry I made you cry.

    KJ
Yeah, you've seen fight club too? How about this, you can be man with the big boobs and I'll be the guy who didn't show to class that day :)

u can make it Sam.. You just kinda fry the she'reyah in some butter & then add some water & wait for it to get cooked.. & then add sukkar :) that's my way of making it though.. don't know how u sweet qwaidarians make it ;)

    I LOVE IT TOO :)
Sara, did you forget that I'm a great cook? :)
I make it with milk or cream and add cinnamon and gum arabica to it. It makes it sooooooo yummy, then add crystal sugar (the type that doesn't dissolve too quickly) and then ... sa7tain :)

ill tell u something, but plz dont laugh at me.. okay..

when someone (including myself) cooks anything, or even makes a simple cold sandwitch LOVINGLY, it tastes (for me) way yummier than a big meal done just to feed the crowds.. or to fill the tummies..

i love it when daddy makes us the friday "fool"..

and when mama makes me soup & brings it to my bed..

    LOVE THAT :)

love is the best ingerdient ever.. at least in sara's cook book :)
Yes, Sara, we call it "Nifs"
So if you have a good Nifs in Tabeekh, or cooking it turns out great like magic
I have a good nifs, I love to see people savoring every bite, and enjoying my food. So Inshallah when I make some and give it to you, you will taste my nifs and enjoy it as much as I will enjoy the appreciation of your taste buds
    :)

I know the nifs..we call it nafas.. Sam's nafas is good in cooking..

but i didnt mean that..cuz that includes a good cooking skill..

i meant the eagerness to give & feed..

like for instance.. when anyone asks me for a cup of water.. i look for the biggest one & wash it & fill it with water to the limit thet half of it spills out on my way to them.. ha ha..

daddy for instance doesnt like the glass of water to feel wet from its outside.. but i always get him a wet glass of water (in case u dont know, im miss hygien freak) & he loves it :)
I use paper cups all the time. I don't trust glass anymore
    sh3eereyeh?? did I hear she3eereyeh?? I'm IN :D
You know, same thing happens to me, I mean, when I'm in Aqaba i long deeply for home, I want to be with my family and friends, but when I take a vacation and go to Amman, after a couple of days I start to get the urge to go back to Aqaba, I don't know maybe its because we've grown accustomed to a certain life style, in my case alone. that involuntarily this life style becomes the norm. I'm really not sure.
    i wish i know why....i really wish...
maybe it's just human nature...we long for what we don't have and when we do we long for something new or different again...looking at the bright side of it...it makes life and living more exciting...when u have all what u want in hand u'll have nothing to look forward to...but some ppl make it unbearable and they become a qualified na2a2een...el mohem ynu2u 3ala ayaa shi...i hope we don't reach this  :)

I think it's the Independence that we enjoy that makes us want to break away. But once we do... we want to get back :'(
