Truly talented artists are in extreme scarcity these days. With the stampede of cheap and used up artists finding these gems could be a tremendous effort

The highlight of my day has been "stumbling" upon a the blog of such a star, the amazing, and angelic voice of Ruba Saqr

Not your average singer. This exceedingly talented Singer/Songwriter mixes her music with a fusion of contradicting layers upon layers of Sufism, philosophy, poetry and even religion in an ensemble of soul soothing presentation and the icing, Ruba's amazing voice

Determined to break through all the social casts of singers, and focused on sending a message to the crowds. Ruba and the very few artists who respect themselves and their work continue to be rare beacons in a ocean of chaotic audio/visual noise.

Blessed with an angelic voice, and a genuine talent. the Jordanian Ruba moves on blogging, in an attempt to also convoy her ideas through this medium. She's trying to establish a fan base that is seriously, not skin deep. After being frustrated time after time when trying to engage fans in any sort of intellectual exchange.

Music changes people, it touches souls, but not on a mass level, it seems. It is quite discouraging seeing how the mass consciousness works. I don’t know how we can break out of these trends that the pop culture has created in our societies, by means of media. We walk in herds, and I believe the culture of “fans” is one aspect of bundling us all up in one silly lot so we won’t think for ourselves or rebel against things in life and policies that do not match our aspirations 

It seems that there's more to Ruba than just her beautiful voice. Check her out, and enjoy this song. It somehow became my personal favorite in a blink of an eye.
