I swear if I hear one more Christmas carol I'm going to throw my self from a building or something! My god, WHO freakin listens to this stuff? Who finds it attractive, and why the heck is the couple in front of me buying a CD with all these dreadful music and taking it home!!

Stop the madness for God's sake!

Radio Shack were the best, they had some 80's oldies blasting at full volume, and I decided to not leave that store because the stupid mall has the same crap playing OVER and OVER and OVER .. it's like an episode of Barny only worse!

I really want to know WHY are sales people so dumb? Worse yet, why do they THINK that I'm as dumb as they are!? Why would anyone think that if they have not heard of something it doesn't exist!? I really really despise sales people! Liars, cheaters and worse they make you feel BAD while you're handing them over your salary!

I decided I'm not going to malls any more! I'm going to stick to online shopping from now on!

oh man. i hate these music too. i have never been a fan of them. but shopping online is a disastrous for me. so i guess now way i would trade the mall of shopping online

lol i cant stand xmas songs too! at my previous job, i was the only arab, in the midst of over 30 insane brits! and they played these songs and carols over and over and over again like a (i wish) broken record!!! w mkayyfeen w they sing along :la6em: kanat aswa2 2 years in my life professionally lol

True ,I don't celebrate christmas but I love the spirit and all that comes along with it, from the decorations,the smell,the noise and even the traffic,it's all beautiful :)

Hahahahaha. At least you don't live in the dorms and have roommates who are so into Christmas music that they play carols all day long and sing along with them too, during finals week might I add :)

Shopping is not a hobby of mine. That is, i don't like to do shopping just because. If i do need something, i go to the store, buy it, and get out. I'm always amazed by those people who go to malls to hang out, or hop from store to store for no reason.

Anyway, as for Christmas carols, i think it is just a matter of taste really.

Also, I think if you had a family, you'd enjoy the whole Christmas package a lot more, even as a Muslim. Depending on when I hear the carols it can be depressing because they make me feel lonely, but when I'm in the right mood, they can be very beautiful. I bought one of those CDs myself. They don't just have the old fashioned carols (the ancient Bing Crosby ones), but rock/R&B/rap carols. Those are kinda fun.

I agree, sales people are trained liars.

Online shopping is one of the few things I miss since moving to Amman, it wasn't so much the shopping as the price comparison and research. We're too far ahead. Some US stores tell you how many items they have in stock and in which branch, and give you google maps to get there, allow you to order free, etc.. Meantime if you call Fun directory (one of our largest stores), and ask for a price on an item, they will say (please come to our showroom), that is if they asnwer att all.
