Allah does not hate even the ungrateful ones. In your friend's case, I think he is being tested. "Inna Allah ma3 Assabereen"

Your friends problem is very common.
I have met many people who said almost the same thing.

The solution to the problem is very simple though many times we don't see the solution to our problems when the solution is in front of our noses.

The solution to anyone who thinks this way is very simple and short, yet it could sound harsh, but it is the truth:

Tell him to stop being arrogant. To stop feeling so proud to put his face on the ground and pray to his Lord. On the ground, on the mud, on the grass, down there where your face should be when you face Allah in your prayers. Like you, like all the prophets and messengers (PBUT) did.

At that point, all of those feelings of despair will vanish. Trust me, I've been there.

I've ever asked Allah & it wasn't answered! Whether the way I wanted it or a different way.. Never did I turn to Allah & felt rejected..

My whole life when things did not go the right way for me. Or so I would think at the time. I find later on that it was Allah's grace that I did not get what I wanted at the time, since it would have been the worse thing ever.

So when things look bad I just remember all the times that things have been going to my best interest and I did not know till later. that makes it easier going through rough times.

well, i dont get it, u dont know ur future, u dont know el mkhabba, ur lack of information does not allow u to know whats best for u, why wouldnt u trust someone who does? if i get kicked in the ass today, god knows, it must be the best thing that happens to me, denya or akhra, because life doesnt stop at the edges of 80 lousy years (thank goodness!) and let ur friend remember that gloomy or not, he is gonna get his promised portion of destiny, and he wont be judged for it, hes gonna be judged for his reaction, his ungratefulness (keef hai!) not how much successful he was (success within this context really becomes a silly term!)

it`s just u r a hopeful man and ur friend is a dispirited man it isn`t meaning that god love u or hate him coz there is saying be2ool ( eza allah 7ab ensan byebtaleeh o byemte7no) may be he has more than u but he looks to things in bad way and u look to things in good way.

il 7amdilla i feel that God loves me and helps me in making the right decisions even if i do not see that they are the right ones at first..

God loves everyone but he sometimes put some obstacles in their lives to see how much THEY love him and believe in him..

All the bad things happens to your friend probably because he is a pessimist and he probably always looks at the empty half of the glass, if he looked closely maybe he will find out that these things happened to him to prevent other worse things that could have happened instead..
