It's Turkey season. And the good folks at Household Hacker are back to their awesome goodness! This time they show how to cook a Turkey using nothing more than a light-bulb and a few DVD-R's and the best part? It was all done in 45 minutes! WOW! Now that's awesome cooking

You have seen these dudes before in the famous "Power your iPod with using an Onion" video (more inside)

You can go ahead and ask any electric engineer if you don't believe me but they wouldn't even know where to start with how silly and stupid these ideas are! But some of their videos (The iPod onion) has over 8 Million hits!

Just to prove that any crap, can find its way on the Internet and become SO POPULAR!

You can't charge a mobile with 1.5V, how can you power a TV?!

Ladies and gentlemen Allow me to introduce Khaled. The 13 year old Jordanian who didn't get fooled by these morons!

Bravo Khaled I am so proud of you habeebi. Sa7, you are right. You can't power a TV with a 1.5 battery for many reasons. Like 1.5v is not the needed 110 or 220v. The Battery has a "Direct Current" while TV works on "Alternating Current". And finally the TV needs about 200watts (That's called power) Power is calculated as: current x voltage. So to achieve 200Watts you will need 220v*0.91a(amper)=200w
usually the current of the battery is in the Milli amper. Or 1/1000 of an Amper.

I'm really proud of you Khaled, Jad innak shater. Bravo 3alaik.

By the way, can you tell me why all the other videos are all fake? Yalla ya shattour. You can do it

Hmmm, well the "Power your ipod with an onion" is fake. Since I did a chemistry project last year on extracting power from fruits/vegetables, I found out that the most acidic veggie (ie. powerful, in this case) was the lemon. Testing it gave out approx 0.9V, which is certainly not enough to power an Ipod (which I think needs a bit more than a mobile phone which was ~6V), and an onion will be less than the lemon so it won't work.
