The apposite of love is really not hate! Love just like hate, is a very strong emotion. One that drives people and makes them do wonderful things. It can help you sour and achieve. It can also devastate you beyond belief
I talked about emotional cancer before, and this time, it will be about the cancer of love. And that is ... Indifference!
"I don't care"
Few words that represent the lover's worst nightmare. Their love, losing interest in them, and thinking they're just another person. They didn't replace love with hate. They replaced it with indifference. As if that person never existed. As if the whole love story didn't move any emotion. As if all that emotional investment went down the drain
"I don't care"
Not caring, is a worse milestone in a broken relationship. It's way past "I hate you", and worse than "I'm already over you" and "I've moved on". It's the case where the person has wiped a person out of their storyline. It's the moment where there are no feelings (positive or negative) associated with the other person
"I don't care"
These words signal the end. But, they don't really mean it's over. It's not the words that matter. It's the feeling. It's the "I don't care" feeling! It's the glassy eyes as you look at someone's picture, writing, little pieces of paper or even the person in the flesh. It's that absent interest in someone not of disgust or hate, but of complete indifference.
"I don't care"
It means that all the distinction that you once held to that person is no more. You're back to human population, to the rest of the crowds. A number, not an individual. Some one who once was, but is no longer standing out. You and the rest of the crowd share the same feeling of indifference
"I don't care"
When a person looks back, their memory sort of skips over the moments you existed, they don't long for those days, they feel nothing. They don't try to get back to you or at you. They don't pick a weak spot to attack you they don't even try to correct your mistake. They don't care! Just like they don't care what happens to the fly on the wall, as long as it doesn't end up in their soup!
"I don't care"
These words appear to have a much deeper meaning when you graft them over other aspects of your life. Love is not only between two people. It can be between a Person and a machine. A person and his job, a person and a hobby, a picture, a view, a car, a pet, a cause....
And then, there's no interest anymore. The whole experience ended up in the dumpster of memory, and you truly don't care if it ends up in a flea market, donated, or thrown out with the rest of the garbage. After all, it all waste
Memories....
It’s exactly what you described, when you get to a point that when you remember that person or even look at him/her/it you feel nothing, nothing at all, and it’s not because you moved on, it’s cuz you lost interest, but you know what, sometimes I’d rather not to care than hate, cuz when you hate you do the stupidest thing you can imagine, you know what I mean, it drives you to do wonderful things, but most of the time, you do the craziest and stupidest things you can think of.

Seems I'm suffering from my job love cancer!
There is a thin line between love and hate but indifference is unbearable..
Exactly, hate means that there are still emotions lurking and lingering.
