I made the mistake of watching a game. And I made the poor choice of watching the crappy Italian team take on the rookie US team ... Oh my god this is so painful!

Unlike others, the looks of Italian team don't worry me much. But the game actually does

I watching this horrible game and I regret every second of it. The game was slow, rough, had absolutely no technique. Nothing NOT EVEN worth the air time.

Shame on you Italy, a team like you couldn't even take advantage of an EASY game like this! This is just crap!

You know what, I'm not gonna watch anything these preliminary rounds, I'll wait till it get really heated for the finals!

    Crap

Oh and Transtours, NobelCom, Tazah, FBIJobs and USArmy, your ads SUCK!

Why is everyone complaining about the game? I really enjoyed it :) It was so intense, although quite brutal at some points. Maybe because I was cheering for the US :) But I totally agree with you about those damn Arab American commercials, rafa3uli daghtee!!!
I wasn't cheering for either, I just wanted to enjoy a World-cup-class game! and was disappointed
I don't like watching sports. It never grew on me. Spectating isn't really sports! I would prefer watching a movie. (which I'm leaving right now to do) Sushi and a Movie, what could be better ;-)
    huh, the US rookies?

Maybe that's why they're ranked No. 5 in the world. And maybe that's why this is their thirld world cup in a row.

The US aren't rookies, they have a very good team even though I'm a big fan of Italy and wanted Italy to win.

I think soccer fans today are too high on what the commentators and analysts say on TV. This definitely wasn't the best game we've seen so far in this world cup, but it wasn't the worst. Italy scored a beautiful goal, then were punished with an own goal which happens in football and is only natural. Did you see the Italian players blaming their teammate who scored the own goal? No, and it shows you how serious these people are about the game. They know this stuff happens and they know they just have to go on.

The red cards, I think they were all justified. The first red card for the Americans was because of a really stupid tackle, he didn't go for the ball, he went with two feet towards the Italian's player's leg. That's a red card. The American commentator kept complaining that this referee is tough, well your American players should take it easy a little bit. The second red card for the Americans wasn't a red card, it was a yellow but the player already had one, that's why he went off. There's nothing that says once a player gets a yellow card it should be harder for the referee to give him another one. That's not how it works.

Italy had many good opportunities, the Americans had a cancelled goal because of something we don't often see in soccer; interference with the play without directly scoring the goal. That was a good call and I think that's something nice about the game.

Overall, I think it wasn't a terrible game at all. Italy could have played better, but so could have the Czech or the English or even the Brazilians in their games. I hope Italy wins over Czech and becomes first in this group, because I'd hate to see them play Brazil in the second round.
i was actually watching the game on art. i didn't watch many games to tell you truth. but i felt this one was pretty bad. i don't think the us team making it to world cup means they're that good. and i can think of 15 other teams that are better. i highly doubt they're ranked anywhere in the top 20 worldwide.
i hope they end up facing brazil and get eliminated :-D

i was with US, watched it at home and didnt stayed till the end cuz i was sleeping not watching, maybe iw as too tired of running in the field (unlike italians) loool anyway, no chance for Italy.. USA proved they were better, way better..
BRAZIL WILL WIN why dont u ppl lsn to me :D ya khofe men today , 3ala a3sabe men mbare7 :) bs 3ade samba will rock the stadium :D
Thank God you think of them (L'Azzuri) this way, they really are "crappy". I won't talk about the game, it was very controversial and kinda fun to watch (as a fight), but it was not good football ...

"interference with the play without directly scoring the goal", Huh? :S

USA IS 5th in FIFA Rankings, but that doesn't mean anything, heck, even Jordan was 37th once and we all know how crappy they are ...

Czech and Ghana for that group please, and THE DUTCH FOR THE WIN! :D
