"Abu nakad" is the Arabic term representing the party-pooper! The guy who has to do the thing that blows up the whole mood for everyone!

For some reason, in any Arabic gathering, there's always that dude who will end up exploding in the middle of the evening. Because of a stray comment, or an unplanned event.. And then of course, all hell has to break loose!

I don't understand why the percentage of these people is a little higher in the Arabic gatherings. I'm sure there's an explanation. It might be due to the fact that most are full of themselves and feel that everything they say is indistinguishable from a holy revelation!

hmmm, that's of course IF they believed that there is someone holier than their ego to reveal things to them!

So what if kids were shouting, or crying!? So what if the ladies are having some resting time while the dudes are smoking Shisha outside!? And why the hell does bother people that the tea is too hot! I love hot tea! It's like hot bread! It's amazing!

All of this leads me to believe that we as Arabs have a concentration of the Nakad gene! But guess what, even though there's only one dude usually (or maximum 2) in a gathering that have it in elevated quantities all the time. Almost ALL Arab women have it in abundance but some how they can maintain it and cover it until they get home and then ...... Think ... volcano!

Why do we love nakad? more than our own children? I have no idea!

    Memories....

Oddly enough, the nakad gene is one of my main objections to marriage as an institution. The last thing I want is a nagging wife !

If you are talking about nagging women the answer comes from new ideas about women rights. I really dislike these people who call for liberating women and equal rights between women and men.
Sometime we wish if we lived in old time when man comes to his house and wife prepare hot water to his wife feet in it.
In general, Arabs love nakad and seek it in some cases. They are kind of jealousy in between us. Sometime we do not like see some people happy. Special if they are relative.
I think that the source of nakad is women in Arabic culture. Most of problems are because of them.
    Speaking of nagging.

Qwaider, do you ever have anything positive to say about Arabs, ever?
LOL ... yeah ... They make killer mulukhyyeh :)
