I'm going to continue with my blogging tips to help anyone in need. My usual disclaimer applies. These are by no means rules or regulations. There's no way you can regulate a creative process like blogging. To make this point clearer; In photography, there's a common rule called rule of Thirds. Where the object of your picture is always one third away from one edge. Why? Because research show that people respond better to things when they're a third away from one of the Edges
Now with that said, (and since this is not a photography tips post), I have to add that perhaps 90% of the best pictures in the world, violate that rule. Know why? Because it's an Artistic process, just like blogging. Which concludes my disclaimer. So use loosely as you deem necessary.
Tip: Copy TO word, don't copy FROM word
This is VERY important, Especially for people who are comfortable composing their articles/posts in Word or some other "Rich text" editing tool. Truth is, there is a very long and technical reason for this, but suffice to say, Word adds a lot of "fluff" as in decorations for the words, letters and styles. This "fluff" is invisible when you Copy-paste it. But it doesn't go away. What does all of this mean? It means, you will end up with a LOT more than you can see. A classic case where more is actually less. This "fluff" ends showing up in your RSS feeds, it shows up for tools that scan your posts (Like Google crawlers) and might contain styles and decorations that are not related to your Blog general theme and style and would be hard to remove (or even detect)

For the love of god STOP your damn child-play and stupidity. You're not really Hacking anyone and you're not "Fighting" Israel with your child-play! What you're really doing is just pissing people off and exploiting already WEAK security on some stupid sites
Will you PLEASE stop it? Ok, don't stop it. will you PLEASE leave Palestine, Gaza, Arabs, Muslims and everything else out of it!? This is not Jihad! This is nothing! This is just few kids who managed to get a "Put" command working on a site with Lax security and you uploaded your stupid and infantile we pages on them.
You guys are giving your culture as a whole a bad name!

If you're not aware of the term "Pink slip", it means, someone got laid off. They were fired or "Tfannash" as they would say in the Gulf area.
Rick, my cross-dressing, retirement age, depressed, single neighbor was handed his pink-slip last week. The poor man was 1 year away from retirement, now he doesn't know what to do
After working for 30 years at his company, waking up at 3AM to be on site by 4AM. He, along with at least 3 million other Americans are now jobless, in what appears to be, the greatest depression since the great depression.
Let me tell you this, the situation is so bleak, that you really can't start to imagine the real dimensions of this global catastrophe, trust me, this tidal wave is heading OUT from its epicenter in the industrialized world and it will swipe away more than we can imagine
No matter where you are in this fragile world. Strange though, Depression in both meanings is spelled the same way!
Microsoft Tag, the 'barcode' for the rest of us

I don't quite often say this, but this is one fantastic new idea straight from the highly esteemed Microsoft research. I played with it today and I fell in love with it. Microsoft tag. One awesome new way to reduce the typing. Reduce the look-up and just get things to "Just work"
Here's how it works. Consider what those ugly bar-codes did for merchandise and Point of sale (POS) locations? Now wouldn't be AWESOME if you could have a bar-code reader for everything out there so you would, know it's price, read a little bit more about it, check the prices online, read a review about it or just get the recall history on it?
Well, the problem with Bar-codes is that they were optimized for laser scanners. They work FANTASTIC like that, but if you tried to use any image processing with them. These appear to be failing with the bar-code.
The solution? Bar-code 2.0, also known as Microsoft Tag, and guess what. IT'S FREE, and OPEN to the public. You can create your own Tags, display them on your sign, you business cards or whatever. And they will say whatever you want them to say! Now seriously, THAT'S COOL! I just made one for This blog, just point your phone here:
I know it looks like Donkey Kong on a ColecoVision from the 1980's.
But I think (hope) there is a good explanation for the ugly CYM scheme colors

Great ideas don't discriminate based on position, Social status, or experience. Neither do bad ideas.
No one is immune to foolishness.

It's so sad when you discover that the average security of a Porn site is way better than most Government sites, even those in the US and Europe.
But it's so painfully true. I see this every day as more compromised government websites pass in front of me. But thinking about it, it's only natural. Just compare the admin on both side and what they are protecting and you will come to the conclusion that this is inevitable!

It's been a while since I last posted blogging tips, many people find these to be helpful therefore, I decided to keep up with the tradition and post some new ones
Please keep in mind that these are guidelines, advices, recommendations, and by no way are meant to force one opinion on anyone. People differ in the way they want people to perceive their blogs. So, without placing any cap on your creativity, take what suits you
Tip: Your blog is not a newspaper
Blogs represent an alternate form of media, yes, you can post news, you can link to news you find interesting. You may dedicate full posts just for the news. But at the end of the day, blogs must add their own value. In other words, try to add your own opinion. Your view, how you agree or disagree with the news. Or the person you're quoting. It's THAT that differentiate your blog.
Worst commercial EVER!
