So I finally got to see this piece of crap! As if we needed one more movie to instill more hatred in the hearts of Americans towards, Arabs, Muslims and the middle east! If anything. This is the worst movie ever that resembles current events in Iraq. But it's not happening in Iraq, it's in neighboring Saudi Arabia!
Sadly though, an Arab colonel helps them navigate "the deadly streets of Riyadh", which is being portrayed as a neighborhood in Somalia. (with no disrespect to Somalia, but Saudi has more money than all African countries combined and Riyadh is the Jewel of the crown)
3/10 on the Qwaider Scale! If you thought "The siege" was bad! This one gives bad a whole new definition of bad. But still not as bad as "United 93"

People are going crazy! Eid is possibly tomorrow and the streets are raging with crazy people doing their last minute shopping. What were they doing for the past 28 days?!?! Why does everyone wait for the last day to go buy what they need for Eid? It's unbelievable! Don't tell me that their days were spent worshipping God all day long!

Folks, I have to apologize for something here. It appears that some have been commenting and getting the dreadful "You are spam, go away" screen.
During my ongoing battle with spammers. It seems that some of the legitimate users have been blocked. Therefore I added a new feature. That will allow you to rebuttal and object to the notion that you're a spammer. Does this affect you? Let me know.

Pssst, hey, .... you .... yes yes .... you .. Reading this thing. Here's a little piece of advice for you. You are ALWAYS on the record. Everything you say/do/accept/approve/reject/deny, can and will be used to analyse/judge/predict/incriminate you in the future. So be careful what you say or do!
Yes yes, I know you're 6 months old, but do you think people are not going to talk about how you used to wet your bed? Trust me, they will!

In a discussion with some friends over online services like Google docs and what not. The age old idea of Thin clients vs rich clients came into the discussion and it gave me an interesting twist on the whole thing.
Most people barely use 10% of their PC's capabilities. It's being mainly used for email, web browsing, some online things, pictures, some videos and music. So really, why not use a Mac?!

One of the hardest thing when a person is tron between two worlds is establishing and maintaining an identity. The issue is much larger than merely being able to make decisions in life or determining where they want to reach. The issue of the heritage that pulls them one side, while the new culture is pulling them the other. And to so little that they can do, or understand. Because of that there's no way around this. They can't become native in either place. Despite walking the walk, and talking the talk. The personality will continue to remain in between. Sometimes falling to the weaknesses of both cultures. Instead of feeding on the strengths of both.
People born to parents of Arabic heritage, or brought into these societies in a young age. Have this extreme dilemma and personality duality that forces them to try and fit in, a tremendous effort, and often times wasted
