It seems that trust and bloggers don't really mix. And it's a sad observation that I've com to realize. Bloggers willing to spell the beans and expose your most cherished secret for a few more hits.
By the way, this is not a rant, this is a true observation

One of the most difficult things to do is to change people's minds about a product or a person. Once that person has received a specific negative trait, it becomes associated with them for life, and sometime beyond.
This is one of the unfair ways we deal with each other. No matter how much people change, or alter their ways, the preconception remains.

I was recently invited to Iftar where the nice old mother of the lady who invited us started bragging about her son. And how amazing he was. She was talking and explaining how he got his Citizenship, and how she's trying to find him a wife from back home who is fresh out of school. And how he is suited to marry the best out there. Of course, it's only natural that the mother would polish her son up. Brushing away minor things like he had an American wife, and that he shared bedroom with many others. Of course, in her rational, you know, these don't count.

Some people who are in relationships tend to be unfaithful to their partner. For those who get caught, sometimes they are forgiven and given another chance. Which makes me wonder... should a person who has cheated on his/her partner not be trusted anymore? And if a person cheats once, does that mean that he or she will inevitably cheat again? Do people deserve second chances?

I've just had it with people who are NEVER wrong. Everything you say needs ironclad documented proof, with fifteen PhD class research theses that prove what you're saying. While any nonsense they utter is a holy revelation. And unfortunately, we have so many of those in the Arab world it's not even funny! Guess what, they followed us all the way to the west!

I'm so sick and tired of two people I know, no matter what I do, these two just manage to find something to fight over! It's really getting on my nerves! Trying to "fix" whatever is going on between the two. I've had it, I quit, I'm not going to do it again! You know what's the best part? These very guys were having Iftar together last night, and today, they're cursing each other!

My first day of Ramadan was amazing! I had the best beginning I've ever had ever since I moved to the US. The reason? The amazing work of our Indonesian and Malaysian brothers in our local mosque. The event was perfect! Not a single hitch. Not a single problem. Everything went according to plan, and there weren't fight over "Who's boss" like the case usually with most Arab organised events. If anything I'm so proud of these guys!

Many people don't know this, but I've been in Ramadani preparations for over a month. And the most important preparation, reducing my caffeine addiction, and IT WORKED!
