It's human nature to brag, that's why humility is considered the highest form of spirituality, or at least, I personally think so.
If you're beautiful, and you will know by people's attention around you, you tend to show off your beauty. If you're smart, you show off your knowledge. Even if you're religious, some people tend to brag their piety thinking that being "good" makes someone "better"!
This superlative consequence is almost always meaningless! Seriously, think about it, do you think that someone being more educated, smarter, prettier, more pious, more well-mannered, more ethical, taller, shorter, thinner, fatter would make anyone any better of a person?
At least piety SHOULD in theory make one a better person, but in practice, the second you feel that you're "better" because of [insert your favorite adjective here], then you're no better than anyone.
Yes, that includes the worst humans in history!

As you all know, I've always been on the lookout for the latest and greatest when it comes to technology. Yesterday, Microsoft released windows 8 to the developer community to demo the shape of things to come
Keep in mind that this is an early release that is far from complete and most things are bound to change. Then read on...
My first impressions aren't the usual "WOW! I gotta get that" but more in the lines of ... "Oh, nice, but not impressed". I guess nothing gets me impressed these days. Not the Apple shananigans nor the Microsoft "reactions".
To start of, the OS is super snappy and fast. It booted in less than 10 seconds and that's enough to really get me excited about it. It recognized my pretty old hardware flawlessly and installed without a single issue. All of that is really good

Everyday I’m starting to believe more and more that depression is a contagious disease. Just being in the vicinity of some chronically depressed people is enough to get you feeling down as well and forces you to start wallowing about your own life. I guess I can’t generalize, but many people are susceptible to this form of telepathic pathogen.

من غير فلسفة زايدة...
شدة اضاءة القمر (الهلال) الجديد هي: (2.5-) مقدار "قدر ظاهري" و هو "مقدار لمعان الأجرام السماوية عند مشاهدتها من الأرض بالعين المجردة"
شدة اضاءة زحل في اعلى قيمة لها: (0.25-) مقدار
فرق مضاعف الشدة = -0.25 - (-2.5) = 2.25 (المقدار لوغاريثمي)
و هذا يعني... فرق شدّة الإضاءة بين الهلال الجديد و زحل في اعلى لمعان هو: 2.5122.25 = 7.9 اضعاف!
مع العلم ان: الهلال كان عمره 12 ساعة (يعني لمعانه اعلى من -2.5) و زحل ليس في اشد حالات لمعانه (يعني اصغر في القيمة من 0.25) اي ان الفرق اعلى و فرق شدة الإضاءة قد يفوق 10 اضعاف
يعني بالعربي المبسط، احتمالية ان ما شاهده الراصدون هو الهلال و ليس زحل!

انتهيت من زيارة لأحد اقاربي حيث كان موضوع سوريا مثار لحفة من التشويح بالأيادي، و ارتفاع الأصوات، و ضرب الأكفاف على الطاولة في استياء ملحوظ. هذا مع الأسد و ضد كل المؤامرات الخارجية و الداخلية و خصوصا الإسلاميين ...
و آخر ضد الحكم الفاشي، الدكتاتوري، القمعي، غير الشرعي و لا الدستوري المتمثل في شخص بشّار الأسد
كثرت الحجج، والامثلة، و الصخب... و ما طلغنا بنتيجة لا حق و لا باطل!
لكن موقفي الشخصي/ من وجّه اسلحة حماية الوطن الى صدور ابناء الوطن الذين اقسم اليمين ليحميهم، فقد خان الأمانة و فقد شرعيّته، و ان كان خليفة الله في الأرض.

Amman is the world capital of amazing social interactions. It is really simple, but amazing!
Jordan appears to be the best place in the world socially. I might be biased, but I can say that I've never been so socially blessed than I have been when I'm visiting Jordan.
Perhaps it will be different if I lived here, I don't know, but judging by the lives of my friends around here, I can say with comfort that social life in Jordan is one of the best in the world!
