The Economist: It's better to be born in India than Jordan
Yeah, it's that bad!
According to the Economist which ranks top countries to live in, Jordan ranks 69th country to be born in. Based on a complex index that takes into account income, general population happiness and crime rates among 11 indicators that are taken into account.
Sadly, Jordan wasn't even on the map 25 years ago when the first article of this kind was published.
Jordan performs worse than places like India, Sri Lanka, Iran, China, Malasia and even Vietnam and Slovania!
If this is not an indicator of how bad the conditions are getting, I don't know what is.
And Happy new year!
