I remember waiting for the weekend to watch every episode! I didn't even understand what they were saying, but I still loved and enjoyed it....

The sad part is, when this was made (1977) this is what they expected space exploration of the moon would have achieved by 1999. Too sad, after that decade straight out of sci-fi (1960's), the whole human race fumbled, profit became the driving force for everything

Instead of good old human curiosity and lust for adventure!

Here's to big goals...

I LOOOOOOOVED that show! I even had a die-cast Eagle spaceship. They're about $40 on EBay now. It could drop off the center pod and fly away without it. Very cool.

I forgot just how cheesy the music and special effects were. But Barbara Bain was beautiful. And Martin Landau's eyebrows are fascinatingly huge. I will have to look for the 17-disc 30th anniversary DVD set.

I used have one of those Eagle modules too growing up... I used lie flat on my stomach and watch the TV and dream how I will join Alpha1 when I grow up.
Looking closer at it, it appears that they all had thick eyebrows! Right?

Starwars is just amazing, it has fascinated and attracted the crowds since the 70's. It continues to do so today. I really love it too

Oh you missed out! This was amazing. The Staple gun... The tiny TV b/w screen communicators, the thick eye-browed Maya shape shifting. You gotta look for it and watch it .. it's really awesome
By the way, this show started airing before Knight Rider. I'm not sure if it was aired in Jordan, but it used to be in Kuwait. But I think it was aired even before Battlestar Galactica the original series
